My dear SO accidentally deprived our insulinoma girl of food for 48
hours!!! She had access to food when she went upstairs to play yesterday,
but that was it. I am sooo mad and I am trying so desperately not to be --
it was an honest mistake (we took her off food Monday evening for a vet
appt), and after all, I didn't notice it either and this is supposed to be
a shared responsibility, so I know I am to blame too...

In any case, it's done now. It's been a couple of hours since I saw the
problem. She was having a seizure (of course she was!!). I immediately
gave her some nutrical and she came out of it, then I FED her and she ate
enthusiastically, though not as much as I'd hoped. I've given her more
nutrical on and off since then and she has been eating a piece of food here
and a piece there. However, she is still terribly wobbly and glassy-eyed.

She gets pred, and we have ordered some proglycem but it won't be here
until Monday.

Has she been permanently damaged?? What do I do now?? HELP!
