Why don't you try using a 'homeopathic calm aid'
instead of drugs! There are several products available
at the health food store/online pet supplies, that you
can try, it would be much better, as you wouldn't have
either the side effects or the after effects.
Give your ferret a try by using a 'calm aid' and
taking him out in the car, just for a ride now and
then, to see if it will work and then on longer
journeys you will have something for the ride---Angela.
