I noticed in your post that you had taken your little one off food Monday
night for a vet appt. I'm assuming Tuesday morn. I'm sure an insulinomic
ferret should not be fasted for more than 4 hours. When our insulinomic ones
go in for appts that they have to be fasted for, we get up about 4-5am and
take up their food before taking them in for an 8 am appt. We tell the vet
exactally when we took the food up. We also always keep handy right by their
area, karo syrup, syringes, and chicken baby food so that if anything does
occur we're ready and don't have to run around getting what we need. Once
we've used any portion of the baby food we immediately replace it. I pray
everything turned out really well for you.
Sincerely,
Tiffany, Cindy, Oscar and Slinky
