In such a case with a large spleen and pretty certain adrenal disease, X-ra=
ys and bloodwork are not always necessary. The spleen is ceratinly going t=
o be demonstrably enlarged, and the adrenal glands may or may not be enlarg=
ed on the X-ray. As it is likely a forgone conclusion that surgery will be=
performed, so there is really little information to be gained by an X-ray.=

Also, if adrenal surgery is planned, another shot of Lupron is probably not=
warranted.
