Hi, I'm new to the group. I just received my ferret magazine and there was a little box in it that included this website. I have a ferret who has had insulinoma for about 2.5 years now (diagnosed) and we have not had to get him surgery, or put him on any medicines. What i have found, that works very well (for him at least) is a little bowl of heavy cream every night. It apparently keeps his blood sugar normal, and he can continue his fuzzbutt activities as normal :) So, i'm not sure if this will help anyone, but i figured i would pass it along. Ask your vet about it, i go to a vet who is very knowledgeable about all animals, (specially ferrets) and he suggested it... hope it helps someone else as much as it has helped me.
