my five year old female with insulinomia just had surgery 4 days ago to remove the tumor from her pancreas. she's doing okay and seems to be back to her regular tricks. she will NOT take her antibiotics, though. i've concealed, syringed it, and so on but now she just gags it back up again. does anyone have any ideas?

also, what seems to be the course of things following surgery?

should she have her regular appetite back soon? she won't eat the duck soup but still enjoys bananas, some cereal, and a little kibble. her urine is dark orange. should i be concerned? I lost my other younger ferret last week during adrenal surgery. i'm devastated to say the least. i'm not so sure my vet knows as much i as i thought. does anyone know a good ferret vet in the Stamford, Ct area?

please, any input would be most appreciated. thank you so much.
