Some time ago I fostered a ferret from our local animal shelter. This little guy liked to rip, chew and swallow any type of material he couldbget his paws on, including blankets, towels and clothing. He was also prone to biting hands and fingers. While his new mom says he is no longer a problem biter,he continues to eat all types of cloth if given a chance. Has anyone had similar experiences with ferrets eating cloth,
and/or any insights into causes for this behaviour (e.g., stress, dietary imbalance)? Any suggestions for how to treat this problem?

Thanks,
Debby
