Hi FerretKitty, are the lupron shots being warmed up in the hand before given? My babies never flinched at their lupron shots - but we warm them before giving - they don't even feel it. My experience once with a fuzzy in for a spleen/possible adrenal removal was that there was too much blood loss so the spleen had to be left in - but it would have come out as well with the adrenal if the blood loss wasn't an issue. I guess it depends on how the surgery goes and what is safe to remove at the moment. Every case is different. I am not a vet. Just a ferretmom.
