I have a 2 and 1/2 year old altered male (early alter),,, and i know for
fact he is not a day older than that.... who is having odd hair loss. First
his tail went bald... but it was more like rat tail. Then i noticed thinning
of his hair on his lower chest. Then he tail began to grow back...
buuuut.... his lower chest got a 1x2 inch bald area. The tops of his
shoulders are very thin, but there is hair there. His feet are fine. But
now,,,,,,, I checked and right above the base of his tail, if you lift the
guard hairs, there is a balding area.... really bad. ugh. He has always had
trouble with shedding times,,, he sheds horribly. But he has never done
this. Never in patches, never had actual "bald" spots. But guys... he is
TWO. It's not possible to have adrenal problems at two is it? Tell me its
not. Please?
He has no off odor, no behavioral changes, no licking, no other signs or
symptoms at all. Is it possible this is due to something else?
