I had the same problem with my Spencer. He even ate the cloth off his
hanging sleeping sack. Some times he would eat towels in his bedding,
socks
left on the floor, and the straps that the hammocks hang from. I tried
many
things like bitter apple and some other products that were supposed to
stop
ferrets from chewing. Nothing worked, I strongly believe that he did this
because of boredom. I had to take the cloth out of his cage so that he
would not eat it and get a intestinal blockage. Eventually I got another
ferret and he just doesn't have enough time to sit around and eat cloth
any
more. That's just what happened with me hope that I have helped you in
some
way keep me posted as to what happens.
