Thanks for the info. You described exactally what he did. He gets his meds at
5:30am and 5:30pm. It was 3:30pm and I had just given him some baby food.
After getting into his blankets and still shaking, I did notice that he was
breathing really hard for probably 10 seconds or so. May have been longer.
Now, do you know what the half life of pred is? I'm wondering if it was close
enough to his 5:30 dose that the levels in his body were getting low enough
that, that may have made a difference. Would that happen? And, have you ever
known of a first pancreatectomy being unsuccessful and a second helping? I'm
taking him to the vet tomorrow for a BG check. Maybe more meds.
