Yes, we took her back for necropsy and they couldn't find any reason for her
to have pasted away. They said that she had minimal bleeding and that would
not have caused her death. So they said she either threw a blood clot or she
died of shock. My daughter is so upset because another vet said most ferrets
who goes thru that type of surgery doesn't make it. She said if she had known
that she would never have put Aries (ferret's name) thru that. So the vet
hospital is having Aries cremated and will give back the ashes to my daughter
next week. We just want to know how to prevent shock the next time because
more than likely the new ferret that she gets will have to go thru that type
of surgery to make them healthy. Is the laser surgery better than regular
surgery?

Thank you
