Thank you so much. Your reply is the perfect example of the reason that we
do this - the appreciation that we get from those people who understand what
we do and the fact that it does take time away from other pursuits.
I would far rather wake up a couple of times or more during the night to
check on a patient than sleep through the night and go into the hospital in
the morning to find that the patient has died. That simply makes sense to
me.
I certainly wasn't angling for any comments, but trust me, they are much
appreciated!
