Hello there:
Welcome. I too am new to the club and am madly wild about ferrets. Although
I call them my kids pets. Your storey reminds me so much of ours.... We got
Callie our sable female three years ago and had so much fun with her that we
thought two would be even better. Along came troublesome Calvin he is our
pride and joy as he seems to be the one whos the trouble maker. He to is a
sable. And just like you as we were reading the paper someone had to give up
their ferret due to always it seems some unforeseen reason. We had qualms
about bringing a third into a house with two bonded adults and even though my
two were fixed I worried this 8 month old would cause trouble. Well Caleb is
a lump of love we had our problems for a while but know they live happily
piled all together in one hammock in their condo. They all have such
different personalities you love them all for different reasons. The sizes
and colors also vary which surprises alot of nonferret people and I just
won't go there as most of these people think they are wild weasels.
Congradulations on your new addition and many happy playtimes with your
carpet sharks. from Heidi, Callie Calvin and Caleb.
