Also after about a week of Carafate 4 times daily, Mittens is still grinding his teeth and eats very little. Until today, I was still allowing him to eat his kibble until advised not to because it might delay the healing process. I was under the impression that the Carafate would coat his stomach so he wouldn't have pain while eating, but so far I haven't noticed much difference. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
