I wonder if someone could help me out with a question I have.
PeeWee is a 6 year old male, MF. He is in congestive heart failure and so
far he seems to be holding his own on the meds the vet has given him. He is=

on Enacard, Lasix and Digoxin. The Digoxin is a suspension so that's not a
problem. The others are in pill form. I grind them up into a power and put
them on a spoon and add a little olive oil mixed with ferretone and he lick=
s
it right down with no problem. =

Today my druggist told me that that's not such a good idea. He said the oil=

could prevent the absorption of the medication. Seeing he is not a
veterinarian I though I would check into it. Do you think this could be
true? If so does anyone have other suggestions as to what I could mix his
meds up in? The way I am doing it now assures me that I can see he is
getting all of his meds.
Thanks for any help anyone may offer.

Warmly,
Didd
