Does ring worm look the same on ferrets as it does on people? Do ferrets get ring worm? We have a ferret that has a red spot on his belly it is about half the size of a quarter. At first we thought he has been bitten by another ferret, because after a week or so it went away. Now the same ferret has the spot back and he also has three small spots on the top of his head these are much smaller than the one on his belly they are about the size of the tip of a writting pen. His fur is thin everywhere else. Could this be ring worm? We also just noticed last night that one of the other ferrets we have has a red spot on his belly it is also very. Should we remove the two with spots until we can get them in to see the vet later this week? Any ideas would help.
