Subject: Glueball: splenic nodules, insulinoma and pancreas looks unusual

Glueball had her surgery today. Her spleen turned out to have a lot
more nodules than the one that was felt earlier and was adhered to
her stomach though luckily her stomach looked okay after the removal
though there is concern for it's blood flow. Because of the nodules,
size and adhesions it could not be patted down to reduce blood loss
so she'll be in overnight.

Her pancreas looked unusual. An insulinoma was present near the
duodenum and that came out. That, a bit of pancreas, a node, her
spleen, and a bit of liver will all go in for pathology.

With a lympho clump here which took Jumpstart and Warp earlier this
year and Sevie having terminal A/V heart node block for which she has
been kept alive much longer than expected we sure are hoping that
this winds up being benign. Glueball is a little huge eared, dark
standard, exceedingly kissy girl who just plain loves everyone and
she is just going on 5 so is still young and it would be a terrible
shame if it's malignant in such a little and sweet darling. I know
we should cross bridges when we come to them but it's scary, as we
all know.
