I have tried to follow the advice given by everyone here as my own Vet is not experienced with ferrets concerning my poor Mittens. He is suffering form ulcers. I give him Amoxi-drops 2x daily, Carafate 4x daily before feedings and baby food. He still eats his dry kibble as well. Some people have told me not to let him eat the dry food, but he is very lethargic and dehydratred if he doesn't eat kibble. he seems do be more energetic when I supplement his kibble with baby food (which he eats very little anyway). He is still grinding his teeth, even after the Carafate is administered. It seems to have no effect. Has this happened to anyone else?
