Meeteetse happened about a year and a half before the next three, then we lost three this year.

The last time we had a clump we had time frames like 9 or 10 months between them.

I would guess that if the virus sets the stage then the timing of if or when a malignancy grows in response depends greatly on the individual: age, health, etc.

I am hoping that the virus itself is short lived and is past in our home, so that this trend will stop here. The first time we had a clump no one published about a precursor so we blithely added, and the ones who weren;t around when Helix was here simply never got ita dn we got past the clump evne though those ferrets did live with Hjalmar and Fritter who were the later ones in that clump to get lympho. We are hoping that this is good indicator that if we are dealing with such a viral situaion that the virus itself is most likley long gone from our home -- perhaps as long ago as two years or more.
