Yes,it does seem too good to be true. I believe that it is highly unlikely that this has anything to do with the darkness. Even in ferrets who have had surgery, started on Lupron, or by whatever means was used to shut down the excess hormone production, I've never heard of any having hair regrowth in four days. It usually takes at least a couple weeks.

I'm a strong believer in the photoperiod connection to adrenal disease in ferrets. Still, I don't see reduced light levels causing this change in four days. Sounds more like a coincidence to me.

This is merely my opinion mind you.
