Subject: Gerber & fur regrowth?

Hi friends. Interesting finding here. Eeyore (8) has been on Lupron since the spring. She has just continued to lose fur never regrowing any. I introduced Gerber seconds chicken into her diet twice daily for added protein for the past two weeks. I subsitute it for her breakfast and dinner. She has also been eating her regular ferret food for her inbetween meals. 2 Weeks into the added gerber diet, she began growing fur back and her nails were also growing at a crazy fast rate. She also packed on some good healthy weight. Her regular food consists of TF Senior and Ultimate 8 in 1. She isn't eating MORE food, just the gerber in the two meal substitutions daily.
Could the added protein induce this hair growth or is it weird timing? Obviously, the girl still has adrenal..but it makes me wonder how lacking is the ferret food out there that the gerber would show such quick great results in different areas. Just a observation I thought I would share.
