Semyon,
Diazoxide is generally given in one of two forms: oral (given by mouth) or topical (rubbed into the skin). The topical worked very nicely for me until it got cold. Franck's has also come up with a new way: in capsules that I sprinkle on their food.
My ferrets are on a high dosage so that has increased the price and the amount I need to keep on hand.
>From Franck's for the topical form of the medication, for a 60ml bottle at 100mg/ml I paid approximately $250.
The pharmacy here for a 15ml sample bottle was charging me $93 which at a 60ml bottle would be $372. So you can see, Franck's was a good deal cheaper.
If you can get the oral form down your ferrets, it is quite a good deal cheaper, but mine HATED it and often would refuse to eat after. So for the stress relief, the extra money seems worth it right now. Of course, ask me again in 6 months when I'm broke!
Hope this answers your question!
