Hi Patti,
Your question about wether to continue with pred
or not is tough to answer since you did not say why
she was on pred. If she was on pred for insulinoma
then she will likely need it unless they were able to
remove the insulinoma during the surgery. Pred may
lower her immune system some, so you do not want to
use it while you are fighting her infection (unless she is on
it for insulinoma).
