My ferret Cully had a similar manifestation of his lymphosarcoma--it made it
seem like he had multiple kinds of cancers and their accompanying effects
(insulinoma, characteristic adrenal symptoms, spleen, etc), but really it
was all one underlying cause. It didn't really make a difference in how we
treated his illnesses, however; pred and surgery, and lupron when surgery
was not an option for his second adrenal gland. (He also had two or three
mast cell tumors, but those did not seem to be directly related to the
lymphosarcoma.)
