Has it actually been shown that it does affect some of the other species? Most of the statements, if not all, that I have seen making such assertions appear to date back to a vet's comment to the effect that it affects multiple members of Mustelidae and he then listed some, and incorrectly listed raccoons within that list. (Raccoons are actually Procyonids.) Certainly, it has been documented in mink and in domestic ferrets, but I haven't seen actual documentation for any others. Has anyone seen actual documentation?
