I've noticed that you can't find 8 in 1 Plus Ultimate in large bags, they only come in the smaller ones with the scoop. While we were picking up a few new toys and scoping out a PetSmart (I was raving joyfully about this great store, they do adoptions and don't sell anything larger than a guinea pig), we noticed these huge bags of 8 in 1 Plust Ultra-Blend.
Now, here's the question: What is the difference? I mean, if I fed my babies the Ultra-Blend instead of the Ultimate, would it take away greatly from their diet? Is it better to mix the two? It wouldn't be hard to get my kids to switch, since they're not really all that picky about anything as long as it's kibble and crunchy. We do supliment their diet with healthy treats, with only the occasional sweet, so... would it make a huge difference?
Now, this isn't about price, because we gladly buy the Ultimate knowing that our ferrets are getting good nutrition, but saving money there means more money in the emergency funds if we have to use them for illness/accident.
