I want to agree with Russell 100% on this. Not only would the chepaer
8-in-1 Ultra mean poorer nutrition, but you'd also get mountains of
smelly poop. They'd need to eat more to get the nutrition they need and
would eliminate more of the stuff they don't need.

It's a good idea to mix two high quality foods into their diet. My
ferrets main diet is Totally Ferret, but I often mix in Zupreem or The
Ferret Store Superior Choice, and I know they will eat either of those
as well. The net result is that if something happens to your regular
food supply you have an alternative your ferts are already used to and
will accept.

High quality foods include:

Totally Ferret
Zupreem
8-in-1 Ultimate (as you already know)
Mazuri
Sheppard & Greene
The Ferret Store Superior Choice
