Path Valley has no tattoo. MF, Hagan, and Triple F have their separate versions of tats. There are also mid sized farms that don't necessarily have tattoos. Ditto private breeders (who can be among the best) and backyard breeders (the worst). You'll just have to figure the little one is "origin unknown".
Find out what tests and vet care the little one has had -- at any shelter or other source of any type -- so that you can arrange for whatever may still be needed in a timely fashion in the first vet visits in terms of vaccine, stool test, ADV test, exam, etc.
