Very interesting stuff. Good to delve into in a high ozone day when not much physical can be done.

I have only skimmed some so far, but noticed at least one other Japanese study -- one ferret that time -- and both of those Japanese studies refered to the cases as being spontaneous ones. If so, we are talking about more beyond mutations of an existing disease.

Also noticed otters mentioned with ADV from American Mink posing a conservation risk to the otters in Spain.
