Were scrapings checked, or any of the sores removed and looked at for pathology to better understand a possible cause?
What med is it?
Some meds go in well if crushed and given with either Ferretone or Nutrical, but that is not appropriate to all meds. Works great for Prednisone pills, for instance.
Meds that have a spliting mark down them tend to have the medication evenly spread through the matrix, but that can't be assumed for meds that don't have such a line, so for the first we feel free to cut and then crush the sections whereas is a med doesn't have such a line we crush the entire thing, mix it around and then divide the portions.
