I've always found that I can pill a ferret just as easy as a dog. Get
your quarter of a pill between the thumb and forefinger of the right
hand. With your left hand grasp over the top of his head with your
fingers and thumb resting om his upper teeth. Using the second finger of
the right hand, pry the teeth apart. Make sure his head is pointing
straight up and drop the pill over behind his tongue. Close his mouth
and stroke his throat until he swallows.
