I just got off the phone with the manager and he said that they're watching=
him, nursing him, have mashed up his food for him, and that he's eating an=
d doing better. I asked him if he was feeding him by dropper or moistening=
his food and he said he mashed the food and moisted it, but he's not being=
fed by dropper. He said if he doesn't get better then they will. He also=
said that this little guy's case was that he was sent to them too soon. H=
e said that they got a really bad shipment of them about two months ago whe=
n they were all just so small and he sent them back. He said the contract =
they have with the breeder, MF, is that they have to be at least 8 grams. =
I told him about the thing the AFA is trying to get passed of having a law =
say the ferrets can't be shipped until they're 8wks old, hence, having thei=
r bigger teeth and halting the starvation problem. He was glad to hear tha=
t. He also said that since he sent that one shippment back, that if they d=
o get smaller ones, it's only one or two and they can watch them better. S=
o, for now, the little guy is getting better and they're watching him. I'l=
l be going there tomorrow when my friend works and see if she'll let me go =
back there and see him. Thanks for the help. =
