Lancelot just had a lump removed that sounds similar to Professor's.
It wasn't marble-sized or under a nipple, though, but a pea-sized blue
to purplish lump behind his shoulder - the pathology ruled it a
hemangioma. It had also struck a vein and caused a hematoma on the
skin. His tumor was benign and came out very easily.

Does the lump move around easily if you touch it? Suggest a hemangioma
to your vet and see what he or she has to say.
