Yes indeed. Our Nyssa had on-again, off-again adrenal symptoms for
close to a year, mainly a swollen vulva. After the year there was
finally significant hair loss and the vulva stayed swollen. Our vet did
surgery and found a very large left adrenal carcinoma. He removed it
and Nyssa has been fine ever since. She was three when the surgery was
done.

Since you have an older ferret who isn't a good surgical candidate I'd
definitely talk to your vet about lupron to relieve her symptoms and
keep her happy and comfortable for the rest of her life.

I hope to read how well your girl is doing when she's 10 :)

All the best,
