When my Gal Ashlee had IBD - the compounded chloramphenical suspension was
the ONLY thing that gave her relief. We did have to repeat the dosing.
The pedia pred was a stop gap measure that did not hold long. It is
important however when dosing with pedia pred to suspend that for 1-2 days
priori to dosing with the chloramphenicol- due to suppression of bone
marrow when both are given simultaneously.
( Unless I mis understood my dosing directions!
