My Jade Elaine had his spleen removed in Sept. of '97. Upon the removal of=
his spleen, he lost pretty much, (just a bit shy) of nearly half his weigh=
t!!
He bounced back royally!! I remember my vet telling me, that once he woke =
up and navigated around a bit, he settled in on a good meal :o)
