Hi everyone.
I have a female that's a week short of a year. I just noticed tonight that right under her chin, a patch of hair the size of a pea was missing. In the area, I noticed very, very tiny ?reddish? dots. So I checked out the rest of her body and noticed the same thing around her vulva. Except there was no hair loss, just the dots. Nothing's changed in her regimen. She's still eating, drinking and playing the same. No changes in food, litter, laundry detergent, etc. However last Saturday, they (her sister too) were given baths and their monthly doses of Revolution at least 6 hours later. They haven't had a bath for at least six months prior to this one.
On occaision (once or twice a week, if that) she gets children's benadryl for what we think are allergies. She doesn't sneeze, just coughs.
Has anyone else experienced this?? I wet a paper towel with warm water to wipe around the areas to see if the dots disappeared and they didn't. The best way I can describe it at this point, is that it looks like the hair follicles in the affected area are irritated.
Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.
