I've posted about 50 times about my Moose (tooth grinding, diarrhea,
almost put him to sleep...) Anyway, I'm convinced he'll live to 80 as he
does nothing on his own....everything is done for him.

Overall, he's very bright and alert. Boney as hell, really thin coat but
his weight is stable. Still grinds his teeth somewhat and still has
really soft stools. Slippery Elm Bark is what he gets for the teeth
grinding (nothing else has worked, this only seems to make me feel better)
and Psyllium husk for the diarrhea (this really works). He gets a combo
of duck soup and chicken gravy through a syringe several times a day (he's
now too spoiled to eat on his own). The son of a gun finishes up his
meal, I put him down, he then trots off to his cage and climbs to the top
level and just stares at me until he gets a treat!

NEW ISSUE: I've been finding these marks that are usually about 1/2 inch
long and varying widths. They look somewhat like a hickey and last for
only a day or two. They appear in random spots, one was on his belly ,
one on his back where I would assume his kidney was, another behind his
shoulder. I don't think the other guys are picking on him, but you never
know. I noticed the first one about three weeks ago at the vet's office,
he was getting a Lupron injection. The vet said that bruising like that
is common in Adrenal ferrets. Has anyone else had experiences like that?
