Dear Mary:

This is indeed bad news. My general counsel on this is that traditional chemotherapy generally has good results in only 10% of cases. However, palliative therapy of hi-dose prednisone often gives 2-4 months. This is a lot longer than 2-3 weeks, and it can be administered orally. This is the way i usually treat my own with lymphoma, and it gives quality time.

With kindest regards,

Bruce Williams, dVM
