Hi everyone,
I have been informed today that canned tuna in oil, contains botulism and can easily kill a ferret.
This is something that I haven't heard before and have, for the past 3 years given my ferrets the occasional bit of tuna steak/chunks. Is tuna really this dangerous, or am I taking a similar risk to the people that feed raw meat, which may have e-coli?
This has really scared me and I would very much like to know just how risky, canned tuna actually is.
BTW, I'm in the UK, so not sure if it makes a difference to the tuna.

Many thanks
Carol
