For the problem with drinking a lot of water and dilute urine, why not plan a urine test after a few hours of no water ( I am not sure how many hours would be needed, I am thinking 4,but ask your vet) , if it is still dilute it would mean possibly kidney problems, if it is more concentrated it would mean dilute from too much water intake- for whatever reason. Of course, any sugar in the urine, or protein,etc? Patty
