My 4.5 year old female(Petunia) had a growth removed from her leg and it was sent off. The vet told me today that it was a mast cell tumor and the vet seemed really concerned. Petunia also has been diagnosed with helicobactor and gastric ulsers for which she is being medicated. My concern is that the vet said the mast cell be malignant can spread to other parts of the body and cause ulsers. Has anyone heard of this?
