We spent all late afternoon-evening at the vet's today. Scooter was almost=
flat out for a while early today but only slightly dry though unable to ke=
ep anything in, but he was not at a point where we had to rush right in. (=
It was a fine line thing but we just know them well after so long so we acc=
epted an appointment a few hours away instead of an emergency one.) Manage=
d to finally around noon get some room temp water with Nutrical smoshed int=
o it with a fork to stay in him (when plain water wouldn't) likely due to t=
he sugars being soothing, and he managed to have small runs in the afternoo=
n. He might have an intestinal tumor, but it is looking more and more like=
he has a blockage that has begun moving and has reached his colon, but it =
is stil not clear enough to know for sure that there isn't a small intestin=
al problem. So, now we are all home with him having been much examined, mu=
ch massaged, x-rayed, and sub-cued as a precaution in case he gets even har=
der to get fluids into. Care and a little bit of time will tell whether he=
'll be in surgery. =
