I have clothing laid out all on that level with some extra bedding in that
spot so he will not see it as a bathroom. But it doesn't work. What can I
do???
Sarah

Sarah,
My advice, due strictly to my own experience, is this: learn to deal with
it! :) My weezils go in front of the bottom ramp in their cage, by the door
to their room AND in corners. My little one Salem, who just passed away, was
the worst. She would even go on the shelves in the cage (this was WAY before
she got sick). To combat that, I put food, water or hammocks in all corners.
Sounds like the bedding doesn't work in your case, so try the food or water.
I also covered the entire bottom of the cage with litter (yesterdays news).
No more litter box. I just take a plastic cup, scoop out the soiled areas
daily and replenish... like its a big cat box. It was just too frustrating
for me to deal with trying to make them go in the box. Our little ones just
aren't around long enough for us to spend our time with them being
frustrated and stressed. The potty battle was one I chose to lose and am
much happier because of it. I have to clean the carpet more (gotta luv
Natures Miracle!), and spend a little more money on litter, but it's worth
it.

Good Luck!
