Most people just buy their own supplies - saline solution, tubes, swabs, etc. One problem that can occur, though, is that if you aren't exactly sure what to use, you may end up using the wrong thing collecting the sample incorrectly.
I would suggest emailing Avecon for specific instructions on how to collect the sample and what to use.
I know at one time, Dr. Stephon did have some OraSure "oral specimen collection devices" that he would sell you to use. This was over a year ago, so I don't know if he still does that or not. You could also ask your vet if he has any. OraSure is the brand name, and the kit has everything needed to collect one sample.
I think you can also use the items from the POCT kit to send in a sample.
