Dimzdale is a 5year old Dark eyed white. He is one of our 8 fuzzies. Last vet vist our vet vet felt a mass am x-rayed. It showed a mass on his x-ray. So we elected to do exploritory surgury. I recieved a call at work the day of surgury and the vet said that he has a cystic mass on his liver. The said it was to risky to remove and also said he had hair balls. Working in a toll booth in heavy traffic it was hard to make a decision with the busyness of the day and high emotions. Vet said they could remove the hair ball but the liver was too risky and asked if wanted to put him down. I said no just remove the hair ball and I'll take him home. Couple days later I got the vet on the phone for a better explination of Dimmy's condition.

The day I got the info from the surgeon and here's the low-down.

There is a cystic-masses [cluster] on the covering about 30% of the liver majority of it on the right lobe where the mass is consentrated. There are other cysts on the liver in various spots on the other lobes. Again the right lobe is where the mass is.

The cysts are watery-clear with spotchy red in some of them in the mass on the right lobe.

So at his point we have a cluster of cysts on the right lobe. Various single cysts on other areas. Total cyst coverage 30% of liver.

Now this is where I need help. If anyone has had experience with sort of thing or know a vet who maybe has had sucess with this sort of problem. Or knows of anyone. Please let me know. Dimmy is a fighter and we are not giving up with out a fight.

Thank You
