My ferret is a MF male, 3.2 years old, he had his first blood test in October last year. Everything was normal except for the white blood cells that were under the range: 2.72 m/mm3 (the expected would be between 5 and 11.6) the percentages of Lym, Mon and Gra were in the range but just were less cells, now 10 months later in his second blood test he still shows less white blood cells than the normal range, even less than in last October, this time he is 2.46 m/mm3, again the percentages of the types of cells is in the range: Lym 43.9%, Mon 4.4% and Gra 51.7%. Does anybody knows if this could be a normal condition for him or is this evidence for looking better at other signs. The red cells are OK. He is a slim ferret, he has always been like that and in fact he has never had a big appetite but otherwise he does not shows any illness symptom. Thank you very much,
Caterina and Gigio the superduperferret.
