Shaggy is a big, fuzzy white ferret with the sweetest disposition. I rescue=
d him from a reptile store that did not know how to care for ferrets proper=
ly. The vet says he's about 4 years old, fixed and descented (although he s=
mells much worse than my other 2 ferrets). Shaggy has always had loose stoo=
ls, but lately he's had full-blown diarrhea. He also has some scabbing that=
the vet first thought was from another ferret biting him. Shaggy sometimes=
has episodes of loud, VIOLENT sneezing. It almost sounds like he's screami=
ng. And sometimes he sneezes so hard he falls off of things or bonks his he=
ad on anthing he's near when he happens to go off. The vet says it's allerg=
ies. These seems like a good solution, but I have tried to notice some type=
of pattern or trigger and I haven't come up with anything. The vet said to=
give Shaggy childrens liquid Benadryl when he has episodes (I've read the =
posts on that stuff), but his episodes are so unpredictable and I don't wan=
t to keep him drugged up with it constantly. Does anyone have any similar e=
xperience or suggestions that may help me?

Thanks for your time,
Alaina Jacobs
