Subject: Flor-Essence instead of Essiac?

I have been reading about Essiac as a treatment for lymphoma recently.
Has anyone heard of Flor*Essence? I just stopped into my
health/vitamin store, and when I asked about Essiac, they showed me
this instead. It contains the same four herbs as Essiac, plus
watercress herb, kelp, blessed thistle herb, and red clover blossoms.
Would this be safe to give to a ferret?

Let me explain that I don't expect it to help much at all, but I'm
willing to be surprised. Bear has confirmed lymphoblastic
lymphosarcoma, so he's terminal, and so I figure most anything that
isn't outright dangerous is worth a try. (Hey, what are chemo agents
after all but patently dangerous.)

We fully expected to euthanize this morning, but Bear surprised us by
getting up and running around the house. He feels better than he has
all week. I suspect this is due to some combination of my skipping his
chemo treatment last night, increasing his pred dose last night, or
adding vitamin C to his gravy yesterday. You try to prepare
emotionally for something like this, and then the little stinker
doesn't want to cooperate. Just like a ferret.

Unfortunately his stomach now hurts when he eats and I can't get my
hands on any sucralfate until Monday morning....
